Our Story
Their love story began with a series of events that could be seen as either destiny or pure chance, depending on one’s perspective. Frenchie and Brea first crossed paths on Tinder on September 26, 2021, and began vigorously chatting the following day. Their first date was on October 6th. Brea, convinced it was going to be another disappointing date, decided to give Frenchie a chance and at least get a free dinner. Frenchie on the other hand was overflowing with excitement, baking cookies, and buying Brea a belated birthday gift, as she had a recent birthday (October 3rd in case anyone doesn’t know...). They met at her favorite restaurant, Bacari.
October 8th was their second date, quickly followed by their third, fourth and fifth within the next 10 days. While Frenchie was flouring her with his baking, Brea was beginning to fall for Frenchie. (It turns out that the old saying, “The way to a man’s heart is through his stomach” also holds true for women as well). Frenchie had been smitten from the start, experiencing a deep and instant connection he had never anticipated, or thought possible. Brea, however, was initially cautious, but in deciding to give this nice guy a chance had become utterly enamored with him.
They officially became a couple in the middle of the night, on October 17th. In the early hours of the morning, Brea woke up and realized she for sure wanted to be with Frenchie. Waking him up she declared her desire for them to be in a relationship. Unbeknownst to her, Frenchie had already fallen in love with her.
On October 21st, they exchanged "I love you’s," with Frenchie, in romantic fashion, blurting it out and Brea reciprocating the sentiment. As their relationship progressed rapidly, Frenchie confessed that he couldn't imagine spending his life with anyone else and had even started looking at engagement rings. Brea found that she has never been happier, and already considered Frenchie her best friend and the man of her dreams.
They both immersed themselves in each other's lives, unable to stay apart. She would exclaim, "I can't believe I found my soulmate," and he would reply, "I didn't even believe in soulmates until I met you." This early infatuation laid the emotional foundation for a strong and enduring relationship.
Within three months of meeting, they decided to test their relationship with a road trip, and they had a fantastic time. Snowball fights and chess matches ensued, cementing their belief that they were not only deeply in love, but also the kind of couple who could travel together and not murder each other. Their journey continued with award shows, beach trips, love of dogs (they now have 3) and delicious meals. But above all, it was marked by their unwavering support for each other.
